Fun with Friends at the Zoo!!!

So 9 moms and a whole gaggle of children all went to the zoo!!! I think it was 15 kids... :)  We had a nice little group!

Here the girls are petting a snake... grrooossss!!!

So Vale really liked brushing the goat and he was doing so well... until he started SUCKING on the brush... that probably tops the sickest-thing-my-kids-have-put-in-their mouths list.  So gross...

Vale LOVED this mini horse!  The zoo worker just said how fearless Vale was...

... and the horse brayed and Vale lost it... ha!

We were able to get some of the kids on the giant lizard outside the reptile house... of course MY kid's the one that won't look...

They were all really well behaved!  We are fortunate!

Connor was really enjoying the Twiss girls during this outing!
He loved making Darcy laugh...

Then was cuddling up to Isla when we stopped to eat lunch...

There was a BABY giraffe!  It was sooo cute!

So Connor enjoyed hangin with his little buddy Isaiah watching the chimps... but I was told after this picture was taken he was licking the glass... lovely... Vale's gonna get hoof and mouth disease and Connor with have some African primate virus...

CAMEL!!! :)

Connor teaching Charity how to ride an elephant... :)

Vale taming the alligator...

Yeah we didn't ride the jaguar... it looks like he wants to eat me... :-/

We had a great time at the zoo and hope to do it again soon!!!

Vasquez Rocks

We went to Vasquez Rocks for our family day this week!
It was awesome!

We strapped on the kids and away we went!

It was really beautiful!

This hike was much steeper than it looked... oh and they were filming a movie where we WANTED to hike... sigh... we found another path though! :)

The weather was gorgeous! Perfect for a hike!

The boys were really excited and Connor kept yelling, 'Daddy, help Mommy!' :)  He liked it that Jimmy was lending me a hand to get up and down steep parts :)

We were up so high that it didn't matter which way you looked it was a beautiful view!

I was glad the boys were strapped in at this point... they would have walked right over those edges...

We made sure we kept them hydrated!  Gotta preserve those little kidneys! :)

I love Connor's little double thumbs up!! :)

Jimmy was teaching Connor how to properly climb a rock :)  It was really cute.  This is Connor jumping into daddy's arms after success!

Connor really liked climbing on the rocks...

'aaahhh I'm sliding down the slope!!'... or more like, I'm a wild man going as fast as I can...

Vale was loving the rocks too!

Connor was teaching Vale everything he learned from Daddy!

Vale loved the open space!

There was a whole bunch of broken glass on the ground so we couldn't just let him run... :(

It was a great day!

Such a sweet smile!

He's so excited to have that purple ball!

Never fear, Connor is near!!!

Da-da DA!

'Ok, I might be going too fast to stop...' :)

Vale really enjoyed his peanut butter and apples today... like a lot.

Vale's my little run away...

We had an escapee last night from the tub...

He went right for the stairs!

He was so proud of himself!

... and then laughed hysterically when he got caught and brought to justice!

He then vowed to avenge his freedom and came back diapered, helmeted and wielding a weapon!

Oh the days we love...

So daddy was TRYING to take a nap... yyyeeahhh like that's gonna happen with two midgets in the house.. HA!

My little crazy haired baby...

Connor telling me how old he is... this is how he hold up three... not with the three middle fingers.

He's such a handsome little guy.

Giggles mcgee must have come to visit cause these boys were bitten with the giggle bug!!!

I just want to kiss his little face!!!

ok this one too!!! Good thing they are my kids or I'd definitely be that crazy aunt peppering them with lipstick marks all the time!

So grateful and so blessed to have such sweet boys!
