Just some daily happenings

So Jimmy and Connor like to play Mario Kart together.

I guess he really was born to be a Steelers fan... sigh... he got his first football today and was clinging to it and the little yellow foam rubber #1

My baby is a complete ham!!!  He loves sticking out his tongue and blowing spit bubbles :)

Connor's eating big boy food!!

So Connor had his first dose of baby food!

 

He's had Carrots, Sweet Potatoes, Squash, Butternut Squash and now Peas.

We are giving him all his veggies before the fruit so he doesn't get a taste for the sweet stuff and not eat his veggies!

As long as you can keep his hands away from his mouth, it's not that messy... his hair on the other hand... that's a totally different mess... sigh... 

He gets very excited when he just sees the bowl and spoon now!

He leans in and eats very well!!

He's a happy boy at eatin' time! :)

He looked so cute in his little hat I had to take some pictures of him!!  He's standing (not very steadily), sitting (not very consistently) and kneeling now.

Stats on Connor at 5 months

 So the little guy is:

5 months old

12lbs 11oz

24.5in 

He's in the 3rd percentile... 

He's TINY!

The doctor said he's not worried at all, he's developing fine. His motor skills are great and in fact he's ahead of schedule in that department.  Just a little biscuit! :)

He's mooning the camera in the Dr. Office... :)

He didn't cry at ALL when they gave him his shots!  He's a tough little guy!  He just looked at me like 'mommy what is that lady doing!?'

Yesterday the wee one was 5 MONTHS!!!!

Holy cow where has the time gone!!!!

He loves to sit like this in his bumbo... he one leg disappears!

He is changing so much and getting so strong.

 He's gonna be mobile before I know it!

 

His grandma love sent him some socks with rattles attached to them for his special day.
He liked them! :)  He's still a runner!

 He is such a happy fella...

...well most of the time.
He just recently threw his first temper tantrum... he wasn't hungry, wasn't tired, he was just mad... so as he was screaming I just put him in his crib and walked out.
He screamed for about 2 more minutes then stopped... I went back in and picked him up and he was happy as a clam... this is gonna be bad cause we haven't even hit the terrible 2's...

I've been reading him more books and he likes to watch the pages now.

He also studies with daddy...

I'm not sure he understands those books yet...

He's are getting bigger and changing all the time!  We go to the doctor tomorrow at 1 so I'll find out how much he weighs now and how long he is!  YEAH!

This is a video of Connor giggling at Jimmy's goofy noises :)  We've been trying to get it on video for a while but he always stops when I pull out the camera so we left the light off so he couldn't see... that's why it's dark.  But the audio is precious! :)

 Livin the baby thug life... :)  This was actually a track suit with a matching onsie and pants but... well... Connor likes bottom half explosions... sigh...

He's so small!!! He's 5 months and still wears 0-3 month clothes... sigh...
