Halloween and Fall fun 2012

The boys were really cute this year!!!
Connor was dressed as Elmo and Vale like a monkey.

We went to the mall because well, they boys have been sick and cranky so I didn't have time to organize a get-together at our house like planned.  Someone told me that it was very 'small' kid friendly and it definitely was!  It was great!

Connor did a great job of collecting candy!

People were really sweet and friendly and nothing was scary (besides some tacky disturbing costumes... i.e. weird red headed adults dressed as skanky children...)

Vale did really well keeping his costume on!

Connor was a hit with the adults and all the other little toddlers!  Kids kept getting really excited when they'd see him and point and say, ELMO!!! :)

This is hilarious... I can envision Vale thinking 'mom I look like an idiot...' :)

Then we walked to Chipotle and got 2$ burritos for being in costume! YEAH Chipotle!
They were too cute and we had a blast!!

So you see the bucket that Connor is holding... It was for sale today at Walgreens for 5$.  Connor saw it and pointed to it and said really loud 'MOMMY I want that!!!!'  I told him that mommy wasn't going to spend 5 dollars on a plastic bucket... he got quiet and just said 'Yes sir.' (he's not too great on the when to say sir and ma'am)  Well one of the wallgreens workers overheard this exchange and went into the back and got the discount stickers and stuck a $1 sticker on the bucket and handed it to me.  :)  It pays not to be a brat Connor! :)  I'll have to remind him of this day later on when he is screaming and yelling for something he wants... :)

Sick Days!

Sooooo this has been a fun week!!
All three of my boys were under the weather.

The boys love to be snuggled when they are sick!  Daddy got to feed Vale his bottle... (which he then threw up in his crib but hey... you gotta try to keep them hydrated.)

Vale was actually pretty happy during the day, when he wasn't puking that is...

Connor wanted to lay like daddy with mommy's kindle. :)  He's so cute!
Notice the missing cushion cover... yeah... kids don't warn you before they yak... they just do.

Connor was only puking for one day... Vale on the other hand puked for SEVEN DAY!!!  UGH!  Talk about exhausting!
Connor in daddy's clip-clops (as he calls them) eating a banana, sportin' his dino underoos

There's that curly baby bird fuzz again.  :)

BAHHAHA  He's sitting like I sit on the couch!!!  SOOO funny!!!  Jimmy's like 'He's sitting like a woman!!'

My big boy!

Sick days aren't always happy days...

But he rebounds quickly...

One of my favorite pictures of Connor ever!

SQUISHHHH :)

My poor baby... Vale puked all over me and Jimmy was coming home in about 30 minutes so I just sit and rocked him for 30 minutes covered in puke... sigh... I love this little guy...

Pumpkin Carving at the Gregory's

So we went to the Gregory's to carve pumpkins and have a yummy dinner!

Well we couldn't have the fall festivities without caramel apples!!  DUH!
We had and assembly line going and boy were they good!!!

I'm telling you... they were amazing!

They men weren't too interested in the making of the caramel apples... and the boys needed to be kept out of the kitchen!
They are watchin football with dad here... :)

Emma Lynn was her sweet little self, just swingin' away in her cozy swing. :)

Link was enjoying some mommy time

The boys had a blast playing together and Rich was fulfilling his protective roll as 'the father of the only girl in the room' quite well. :)  And believe me, she needed shelter from these three... :)

Then came the pumpkin carving!!!  This was my before picture (with every intention of getting an after picture but... didn't happen...)

The happy hosts carving away!

Connor doing his part to empty our pumpkin... :)  He didn't want to get his hands dirty and thought the stuff in the pumpkin was quite gross...

Trevor decided to carve/shade an image onto a giant green gourd instead of a traditional pumpkin... And if you know my brother it would not surprise you that it was the president of the school he's attending's face... :)

The laborers hard at work!

Michelle did hers all with a hammer and a nail... don't think we stayed long enough to see how it turned out...

This was Kati's, which I thought was pretty cool!

All-in-all we had a really good time!  Can't wait till next year! :)

The Pumpkin Patch

We went to Lombardi Ranch on Saturday!

They boys picked out their pumpkins!

But there was much more than just pumpkins!
Connor and Vale were checkin out the cow here... :)  Connor loved climbing the fence :)

Connor loved climbing to the top of this hay bale pile with his Aunt Michelle!

My boys were imprisoned by Peter Peter the Pumpkin Eater!

Vale was outraged at the accusations proffered against him!

Connor was pretty confident the allegations against him were true... :)

Love this picture!!!  Oh my boys are so silly!

He was in a huge pumpkin here and thought it was the coolest thing EVER! :)
I love the genuine smile!

V: 'Oh Mom I found one!!!'

V: 'Don't you think it's a good one!??'

V: 'So what do you think?  Too big?'

C: 'This one might be better!'

V: 'Are you kidding me?'

C: 'So you'd prefer this one...?'

C: 'HA I crack myself up!'

V: 'Forget that jokester, I found the REAL pumpkins!'
(Vale was trying to help us pull all the pumpkins... notice the flat tire...)

V: 'maybe we can pull it this way guys...'

V: 'Okay, I'll just hold them in here while YOU pull...'

We had a great time and then had fun carving them afterwards!!! :)
