Easter 2012

The boys were matching for Easter this year and I loved it!  I have to take advantage of them being young and having no complaint to my dressing them up all cutesie! :)  I should have gotten a photo of them together before church but I only was able to snap a couple separate ones...

Vale's hair, despite my most ardent attempts, is just plain out of control.

Connor is one goofy little somebody with a HUGE personality.
I personally think that bow-ties suit them both very well.

We had a wonderful Easter service to celebrate the resurrection of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  The whole service was amazing were we had 6 people get baptized, an exceedingly worshipful singing time and a very thought provoking message.

After church we came home and Connor and Brennan had an Easter egg hunt in the back yard.
They were so cute and got the hang of it very quickly!

They were running all over the yard collecting eggs with their daddy's in tow with bags.

They weren't hidden per se... more like just randomly placed. :)

Connor figured out that there was CANDY in the eggs!!!  Well we normally regulate the amount of candy he has so he would find an egg, open it, get out the candy and shove it in his mouth as fast as he could, for fear we'd take it away... :)  Once he grasped that we weren't taking it away he started putting them, uneaten, in the bag. :)

There were a ton of eggs and both boys had so much fun.

He'd get so excited when he found an egg!

Some eggs had m&m's, some had fruit snacks and some had jellybeans.

He's double fistin'!

Connor didn't like walking on the grass... he's too funny.

Brennan started getting tired mid-way through and just walk over and leaned against the fence.  It was so cute.  That egg gathering is hard work huh Brennan!?

Showin off the loot!

I love Connor's sweet little face here... he was so excited!  The hunt was def. a hit in his book!

Partaking in the spoils of the hunt.

'what did you get?' :)

After the hunt we had lunch (yes I know I let me child eat a ton of candy before his meal...) which was wonderful!  There about 12 people there for lunch and it was a great time of food and fellowship.  Some of us shared our testimonies and it was such a blessing to me!

On top of all that, I got Connor a RIDICULOUS Easter basket.  I admit, I went overboard... but this was the FAMILY, communal basket... and we've all been grazing off it. :)

Spending time in Sacramento

My precious baby boy!  He is so sweet!  His little face just lights up when he smiles!

Connor and Brennan normally play so well together! :)

 I love this little muffin!

Look at that sweet face! :)  He's a darling little boy.

The boys had so much fun playing together in the water!  They each had their own cup and were just having a wonderful time!

We closed glass door and let them just splash to their hearts content.  It was toddler bath paradise. :)

We died Easter eggs with Connor.  He was coloring on the egg with a white crayon.

He was so proud of his egg!

Will fell asleep cuddled up with George :)

Our fierce hunters...

I'm not seeing this ending well...

My sweet baby boy was sitting up very well with minimal assistance!  I'm so proud of him!

Connor playing with his friends

Connor enjoyed playing with his friend Link in the alley behind our house.

We went up to Sacramento to visit some of my family up there.
Connor's friend Brennan (my cousin Lauren's son) happens to live there!
They have become best buds!
They love to chase the dog around.

These boys LOVE to play with any kind of ball!

They were too cute chasing each other around the back yard!

 Look Mommy!!

Connor is so expressive!  He likes to tell me stories and play make-believe.

So mom, let me tell you this great story!

I saw this animal, he looked really scary

and I thought that he was gonna eat me.

But then down came daddy and swooped me up

He saved me, then I was alright.

Wasn't that a good story mom!?

Uncle Rick pulled out the blower to get some of the winter foliage off of the patio and the boys reacted quite differently to it.  Connor was scared of it but Brennan LOVED it!

Uncle Rick kept blowing him in the face and he was having a great time!  It was so cute!

This is Brennan's male model look...

He's such a sweet boy!

This kid cracks me up!!!  He has such an imagination!  Can you tell we are potty training... :)

Feeding the Ducks!

Connor got to feed the ducks with his friend Lincoln!

A very bold duck came up on the walkway.  Connor was not scared.

That poor bird...

Connor was so excited about the ducks!  He kept yelling 'Quack QUACK!' at them.

He liked just watching them.

Vale just chilled in the stroller... with his crazy hair.

The boys checked out the flowers.

... and sat on some benches...

Connor's like 'why are we sitting on benches?' :)

... to do some babe watching...

... oh yeah that's right, we respect women too much to babe watch...

... thanks brother... it's great to have such a good friend!  I got your back!

 The three little amigos

Link's like 'mom this kids a spaz...' :)

... see, I told ya!

We had a good time feeding the ducks! :)
