The boys were matching for Easter this year and I loved it! I have to take advantage of them being young and having no complaint to my dressing them up all cutesie! :) I should have gotten a photo of them together before church but I only was able to snap a couple separate ones...
Vale's hair, despite my most ardent attempts, is just plain out of control.
Connor is one goofy little somebody with a HUGE personality.
I personally think that bow-ties suit them both very well.
We had a wonderful Easter service to celebrate the resurrection of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The whole service was amazing were we had 6 people get baptized, an exceedingly worshipful singing time and a very thought provoking message.
After church we came home and Connor and Brennan had an Easter egg hunt in the back yard.
They were so cute and got the hang of it very quickly!
They were running all over the yard collecting eggs with their daddy's in tow with bags.
They weren't hidden per se... more like just randomly placed. :)
Connor figured out that there was CANDY in the eggs!!! Well we normally regulate the amount of candy he has so he would find an egg, open it, get out the candy and shove it in his mouth as fast as he could, for fear we'd take it away... :) Once he grasped that we weren't taking it away he started putting them, uneaten, in the bag. :)
There were a ton of eggs and both boys had so much fun.
He'd get so excited when he found an egg!
Some eggs had m&m's, some had fruit snacks and some had jellybeans.
He's double fistin'!
Connor didn't like walking on the grass... he's too funny.
Brennan started getting tired mid-way through and just walk over and leaned against the fence. It was so cute. That egg gathering is hard work huh Brennan!?
Showin off the loot!
I love Connor's sweet little face here... he was so excited! The hunt was def. a hit in his book!
Partaking in the spoils of the hunt.
'what did you get?' :)
After the hunt we had lunch (yes I know I let me child eat a ton of candy before his meal...) which was wonderful! There about 12 people there for lunch and it was a great time of food and fellowship. Some of us shared our testimonies and it was such a blessing to me!
On top of all that, I got Connor a RIDICULOUS Easter basket. I admit, I went overboard... but this was the FAMILY, communal basket... and we've all been grazing off it. :)
