So we took the boys down to a mall in manhattan beach, by where my cousin lives, and they had a good time being kids :)
This was the face Connor gave me when I asked him if he looked cute as a pirate... :)
Vale's just trying to walk straight... ha
I love it that they first place that had 'candy' it was a 'take one' for yourself and it was health bars! HAHAHA my kids had no idea but I was like YEAH way to start them out right! :)
There were many other stores that had wonderfully nice people giving out 'real' candy :)
Vale loved to say 'Trick or Treat'! It was so cute!
Abby was Tinkerbell and absolutely adorable!
There was a puppet show in the middle of the mall (VERY dumb but they kids loved it...) and Vale was totally enraptured...
There were a lot of kids there... what I love about the mall is you have no scary or slutty costumes... it was great! All winnie the poohs and elmos :)
They really were captivated by the puppets...
We tried to get Connor to come away to get more candy but after one store he wanted to go right back.
Vale was much more motivated by sweets...
They had a good time... even though we were only there for like an hour.. we went to eat after that which was good... try to balance out the sugar high with some real food.
Connor the Pirate.
Vale the Dinosaur.
Mommy the Leopard.
(Schafer the baby.)
Daddy was a pirate too but the only pics I got of him were with his shirt off so I'll spare you... :) Those are for me :) :) :)
I tried to get a picture of the face make-up but you couldn't see the whiskers unless I made a semi-duck face... so here ya go... :)
We like to celebrate getting all dressed up and having fun but Halloween isn't really high on our list of things that we value... We prefer to teach out sons about Reformation Day!! Yeah! Connor kept telling me that Marin Luther put his 'feces' on the door of a church... haha THESIS my son... THESIS...
