Both of my boys look cute in hats! Now if I can just get them to keep them on!
Vale prefers his backwards :)
And Connor is the traditional straight forward type. :)
Connor loves his little buddy Toby!! They hang out in the cage together. I was nervous about this at first but Toby seems to like it. They both curled up on his blanket and took a nap... yeah...
Well after they ferociously frightened away all the lions, tigers and warthogs.
Tuesday afternoon we put some music on and had a little dance party in the living room. The boys then wanted to play drums to every song that came on... nice... :)
Vale has finally become interested in books!!! :) You could read to Connor for hours and he would just go get another book. Vale now is totally infatuated with a little clifford book that we have and has me read it over and over. I'm ok with that! :)
Couple things about the boys:
Connor hides whenever Vale is in trouble! It's hilarious!! I was just warning Vale that if he touched something again he would get punished and Connor ran and hid under the table and was peeking out from being the leg. He gets really upset when Vale's in trouble! It's so sweet and I'm so glad that he doesn't get glee out of it like I seemed to when I was an evil little child... :)
Vale is saying lots of words but he's mighty stubborn!!! He said cookie yesterday but refused to repeat it to get another cookie... He does say mama, dada, bah-bah (for his bottle), todee (toby), more, gain (again), down, go, don't go, some for of consistent sound for cup and he growls for every animal sound. He definitely knows what he wants.
Connor would eat, PB&J or mac & cheese for every meal if we'd let him.
Vale LOVES peas! He eats them by the fist full. It's really quite funny.
Connor fell off the top bunk onto the top of his head!!! yup... mom of
the year award right here. I scooped him up and I was almost in tears as
he was crying and I was asking, through being totally choked up, if he
was ok and he said, 'mommy don't be
sad! I'm ok' which made me actually cry to which he responded, "Mommy
what' wrong? You don't love me anymore??" Oh my word rip my heart
out!!!! This kid knows how to melt his mommy... I held him for about a
half hour... The experience was more traumatizing for me than him...
Vale loves to shake his head no. He knows what it means to he just doesn't SAY no... he does it when he's affirming that you don't want him to do something or when he's telling you he doesn't want something.
Both of my boys love to slow dance with mommy and I think it's so sweet!!! They definitely show me lots of love!
