Busch Gardens

 So we took 6 children to Busch Gardens last week!

(a 12 year old, two 9 year olds, a 6 year old, a 2 year old and an 8 month old)

We had the two little ones in the stroller

We got the kids measured...

Then we headed for the coasters!

Connor and I had a good time doing the kiddie rides while the older ones went on the roller coasters.

and, his favorite, the bumper cars...

 The older kids enjoyed the bumper cars too...

Connor LOVED playing in the water!  It was really really hot so it was nice he was able cool off!

They were both WORN OUT!

Connor got to meet ELMO!!!  He was a little scared...

Then he got to meet Big Bird... yeah then he was REALLY scared... hahaha

The big kids loved all the rides!  Including Jimmy... :)

 Cass was enjoying the tea cups while the boys went on a ride she wasn't tall enough for...

 Connor LOVED the rides he could go on in Elmo's World

 It was so much fun to be with him!

Connor's 'pack-pack'

So Connor has been asking and asking for a backpack...

Well I finally got him one and he LOVES it!

He takes it everywhere and loves to wear it!

He is adorable!

 Even though he's got a back pack he still thinks he's too cool for school :)

Hawaiian Shirt Day...

No reason, just decided to make today hawaiian shirt day... 

They were cute... :)

So we've started Vale early on MD... (just kidding)

 

But he is in that phase where EVERYTHING goes in his mouth...

 He's a sweet little peanut!

 Connor has a giant imagination and I love it!

Here he's built a bridge out of Nona's place mats and you have to walk on it to cross the river...

 We were taking turns running up and down the hall but you had to use the bridge!

 He's a cheese bucket in his hawaiian shirt!

 We put them in their cars pj's tonight :)  

(again with the 'Vale must put everything in his mouth' issue...)

 Connor loves Vale and calls him his best friend... makes my heart melt!

Free week!!!

So this week seemed to be the week of 'get things for free'!

Today we went to Chick-fil-A and got a free meal cause we dressed up like cows!

 We went with an old friend from college who I haven't seen for 10 years!

 Vale came but wasn't really ready for the food so he just 'kinda' dressed up like a cow... :)

After chick-fil-A we went to Starbucks where they were giving out free hibiscus berry tea from 12-3.

Thank you very much Starbucks!

We also took advantage of 7-11's generosity and got free slurpees on 7/11, twice!  :)

Hooray for free fun!!

Vale is 8 months old today!

My little buddy turned 8 months old today!  

Time is FLYING!

He sits up and plays on the floor pretty well on his own though he'd much prefer to be played WITH.

He likes to clap and 'talk' to you.

He's very ticklish and it's adorable to watch him giggle.

He weighs 18lbs and is in size 9 months clothes.

He loves his pacifier to suck on and chew on.

No teeth yet but is a HUGE drool machine!

He's eating big boy food pretty well, he loves rice, dices carrots, peas, cheerios and yogurt.

We love this little guy a lot!

We went to the park and it was SOOO hot!!!  Connor had fun though... 

Vale loved the swings!

Then we got in the pool, our favorite place to be this summer!

Connor LOVES the water... he's quite a little fish!

Connor has discovered legos... HE LOVED THEM!  He's a building machine.

 Connor rode the carrousel at the mall... he didn't want to ride a horse... crazy kid!

Connor was filing Jimmy's toes!  It was sooo funny!!!
