Sick Days!

Sooooo this has been a fun week!!
All three of my boys were under the weather.

The boys love to be snuggled when they are sick!  Daddy got to feed Vale his bottle... (which he then threw up in his crib but hey... you gotta try to keep them hydrated.)

Vale was actually pretty happy during the day, when he wasn't puking that is...

Connor wanted to lay like daddy with mommy's kindle. :)  He's so cute!
Notice the missing cushion cover... yeah... kids don't warn you before they yak... they just do.

Connor was only puking for one day... Vale on the other hand puked for SEVEN DAY!!!  UGH!  Talk about exhausting!
Connor in daddy's clip-clops (as he calls them) eating a banana, sportin' his dino underoos

There's that curly baby bird fuzz again.  :)

BAHHAHA  He's sitting like I sit on the couch!!!  SOOO funny!!!  Jimmy's like 'He's sitting like a woman!!'

My big boy!

Sick days aren't always happy days...

But he rebounds quickly...

One of my favorite pictures of Connor ever!

SQUISHHHH :)

My poor baby... Vale puked all over me and Jimmy was coming home in about 30 minutes so I just sit and rocked him for 30 minutes covered in puke... sigh... I love this little guy...

Pumpkin Carving at the Gregory's

So we went to the Gregory's to carve pumpkins and have a yummy dinner!

Well we couldn't have the fall festivities without caramel apples!!  DUH!
We had and assembly line going and boy were they good!!!

I'm telling you... they were amazing!

They men weren't too interested in the making of the caramel apples... and the boys needed to be kept out of the kitchen!
They are watchin football with dad here... :)

Emma Lynn was her sweet little self, just swingin' away in her cozy swing. :)

Link was enjoying some mommy time

The boys had a blast playing together and Rich was fulfilling his protective roll as 'the father of the only girl in the room' quite well. :)  And believe me, she needed shelter from these three... :)

Then came the pumpkin carving!!!  This was my before picture (with every intention of getting an after picture but... didn't happen...)

The happy hosts carving away!

Connor doing his part to empty our pumpkin... :)  He didn't want to get his hands dirty and thought the stuff in the pumpkin was quite gross...

Trevor decided to carve/shade an image onto a giant green gourd instead of a traditional pumpkin... And if you know my brother it would not surprise you that it was the president of the school he's attending's face... :)

The laborers hard at work!

Michelle did hers all with a hammer and a nail... don't think we stayed long enough to see how it turned out...

This was Kati's, which I thought was pretty cool!

All-in-all we had a really good time!  Can't wait till next year! :)

The Pumpkin Patch

We went to Lombardi Ranch on Saturday!

They boys picked out their pumpkins!

But there was much more than just pumpkins!
Connor and Vale were checkin out the cow here... :)  Connor loved climbing the fence :)

Connor loved climbing to the top of this hay bale pile with his Aunt Michelle!

My boys were imprisoned by Peter Peter the Pumpkin Eater!

Vale was outraged at the accusations proffered against him!

Connor was pretty confident the allegations against him were true... :)

Love this picture!!!  Oh my boys are so silly!

He was in a huge pumpkin here and thought it was the coolest thing EVER! :)
I love the genuine smile!

V: 'Oh Mom I found one!!!'

V: 'Don't you think it's a good one!??'

V: 'So what do you think?  Too big?'

C: 'This one might be better!'

V: 'Are you kidding me?'

C: 'So you'd prefer this one...?'

C: 'HA I crack myself up!'

V: 'Forget that jokester, I found the REAL pumpkins!'
(Vale was trying to help us pull all the pumpkins... notice the flat tire...)

V: 'maybe we can pull it this way guys...'

V: 'Okay, I'll just hold them in here while YOU pull...'

We had a great time and then had fun carving them afterwards!!! :)

Connor being Connor... :)

This kid is hilarious!  So fastidious!  He adjusted the ball about 4 times before he'd kick it... sooo funny!

So can we tell that Jimmy and Uncle Trevor are studying Hebrew this semester??

Connor shouted this out to two seminary students who were studying for their exam in Hebrew on campus one day... it was a little embarrassing for me but they were impressed... :)

Caution: Boys at Play!

Vale 'worships' the vacuum cleaner so he was very concerned with fixing it when it broke!

It didn't make it but we got a brand new vacuum which he likes even better!!! :)

We went to the park today for two hours and the boys had a blast!

Vale was playing peek-a-boo with me and the slide :)

Not enough swings?  Never fear my boys are tiny and can share one!!! :)

Vale enjoyed chasing the balls around... he got dirty knees!! :)

Then he spotted the giant soccer balls and made a beeline for them!

This is Connor's version of playing goalie... you can't score if I'm completely covering up the goal!

Vale started to get really tired and just wanted to sit in one place and play...

Connor loves to hit the big ball as far as it will go!! :)

Vale cried when I tried to take his mt. dew away... sigh... He's like his mama...

The boys love their little cousin, Baby Emma!

Kati (brave soul!) watched Connor, Vale AND Emma the other day.
Connor was a helper and helped feed Emma her bottle.

Even though they might not PLAY with her per say... they still love her! :)

Connor and the Dentist!

So Connor had his first dentist visit yesterday!!!
He has 16 teeth! :)

He did very well!!  They counted his teeth, brushed them and put fluoride on them.

They were very impressed that he liked to floss! :)  He told them that. :)

I had an appointment after his and he sat and watched me and colored on a clipboard.
They had to take me across the hall to another room to get x-rays to they put him in a rollie chair and sat him in the doorway where he could see me.  He was watching and curious as to what they were doing and I explained.  Then he kept telling me 'Your doing good mommy!' and 'Good job mommy!'  encouraging me as they were taking pics.  It was soooo funny and too cute!!  He's got such a sweet spirit and kind heart.
