Weekend of Friends!

This weekend we got to hang out with our friends!!

The boys cousin Brennan came to visit on Friday evening!

Connor is still working on his 'sharing' skills... poor Brennan!  Connor kept following him around and taking the toys he was trying to play with saying 'NO! Connor's!'... sigh... not good son, not good.

 Then Saturday, we went to Lincoln's birthday party!  Notice Connor doing a little jig in the background... He's a nut!

So we were trying to get pictures of Link and his dad and everyone was saying 'say cheese!'. So Connor ran up and put himself in the picture too... sigh...

 My precious little Vale is changing so much every day!  He's a sweet little guy!

Vale's first soccer experience

My little blue eyed boy had a very stimulating day today!  He barely napped and was very involved in all of our family activities!

All that to say, he passed out for the night at 7:30... :)

He played soccer with the whole family!

 

Vale absolutely loved being outside today!  He's gonna be my little soccer player! :)

It's so great to have a kid who thinks it FUN to go get the ball when it's kicked out of bounds... 

Vale was not liking sitting in the seat while we played... he was definitely ready to be a little soccer star! :)

Vale played with this toy in his bumbo for a LONG time today!  It was the first time he'd played with a loose toy like that for a long period of time.

Connor is definitely entering the terrible two's!  He knows what he wants and gets frustrated when he can't get it.  He's lost his temper a couple of times and thrown some fits but overall he's still a sweet sweet boy.

He likes to ask 'what ya doing mommy?' all the time and 'what happened?' over and over and over again about the same thing. 

He's likes to say 'look mommy!' or 'watch this!' before he does something 'cool'.

He thinks everything is 'Connor's' even if it is CLEARLY not his...  for example, Connor's cup (referring to daddy's soda), Connor's slide, Connor's soap... 

When we watch the video of his first birthday a bit ago he said, "Mommy, Connor want cake" :)

He likes to announce when he has passed gas by proclaiming loudly, "Connor Toot!"

He likes to sing!!!  He loves to sing "only Jesus" over and over and over again.

His wonderful Aunt Michelle taught him to say Adios when people leave and he pronounces it 'Adiosh'

I bought him shoes today and he was wearing size 4 sneakers and had to jump to a 6... sigh... Jimmy noticed he was walking funny... poor kids toes were curled up in the front!

Connor Making Vale Giggle

I'm so blessed with sweet boys!

Connor wanted to get in the crib with Vale today so I put him in there and he snuggled down under the blankets with Vale's little doggy.  It was so cute!  Connor loves his brother so much!

 Vale was playing on the floor and Connor wanted to play with Vale so he crawled under the toy with him.  I like it that he doesn't try and push Vale out he just wants to play too! :)

 Connor LOVES to brush his teeth... he brushed his teeth 4 times today. :)

My babies are growing!

Connor fell asleep while eating lunch... he was so tired after we'd had so many visitors here last week!

We go to baby gym at our church on Thursdays and Connor LOVES it!

Vale is now 4 months old!

My sweet baby boy is 4 months old!!

The boys were napping together on Sunday afternoon... :)  They are so sweet!

I was trying to get some pictures of Vale in this little bunny suit Randi made for him but he was getting sick and was NOT havin' it... :)

He's like 'are you serious mom?'

Brotherly Love

I love how much Connor loves Vale!  

Not only does he tell him all the time ("I love you Vale") but he takes care of him.  He gets him his 'NUK' when it falls out, tells mommy when the baby is crying and cheers for Vale when he laughs and giggles.

His newest thing is wanting to hold Vale.  I was bringing Vale downstairs and found Connor at the bottom with his arms up.  I thought he wanted me to pick him up but he said 'no, hold'.  I asked him if he wanted me to hold him instead of Vale and he said 'No, Connor hold Vale.' :)  So I started to put Vale into Connors arms and Connor quickly figured out he was unable to actually hold him so he sat down and Vale laid on his lap for a while.  He rubbed his head, helped him with his NUK and held his hand.  He's so sweet to his brother! :)

I'm sure they days of Brotherly fighting are up ahead but I'm enjoying the sweet toddler relationship Connor is developing with Vale. :)  Makes a mama's heart smile!

This little guy is lovingly known at our house as Chub Master Flex... :)
