Connor's Birthday party!

Connor had a wonderful birthday party on the Saturday after he turned 1.

We were so blessed to have my mom here and have so many people come to care about Connor!

I made him a little onesie that said "Connor is 1" :)

He got his first car for his birthday! :)  He loves that thing!  Especially the horn that beeps... mom and dad are NOT loving that part so much... 

He has so many expressions!!  He's definitely turned into a little kid... no more baby :(

 I made the hat to go with the shirt, knowing that it wasn't going to be a hit with Connor... :) hahaha at least he didn't rip it off!  He's so cute! :)

I got a pull string pinata for the kids... it was really cool!  Instead of hitting it with a stick each person pulls a string and one of the strings is the 'linch pin' and lets the bottom drop out!  They didn't really understand but they could participate! :)

Yeah candy!!! :)  The boys/men def appreciated this more than the kids... 

I made Connor a monkey cake!!! :)

He was a little apprehensive at everyone looking at him...

But then he got some cake from the candle and he was fine.

He kept stabbing the monkey... just makin sure it's dead... :)

Brennan REALLY wanted his turn at the cake! :) hahaha it was so cute!  Can't wait till his first birthday!!! That kids gonna be a mess! :)

 Connor was like 'eeww I'm dirty!!!!' :) sigh...

Yeah he was having fun :)

'ok mom I'm done now...' :)

Time to put that kid in the SINK!  :)  We washed him off and re-dressed him.

Then we got to open presents!!  People were SOOO generous!!!

Connor's attention span lasted longer than I thought it would!

Jimmy gave Connor his first Bible and wrote a special message in the front!  It was very nice!

So all in all, the party was great!!!  We had about 23 people there and in our little place... it was packed! :)  Connor had a good time and slept like a LOG that night, which was a blessing for us! :)

Connor's actual day of birth :)

We celebrated just a bit on his actual B-day before the party of saturday.

He woke up and grandma made him french toast!  He loved it!

He was very sticky... good time for a bath!

Then we ran some errands and got some things done... well I worked... but... :)

That evening we took him to chucky cheese!!  

I was a little nervous that he would be scared of the big characters and he was a little apprehensive at first...

but he LOVED it after he got used to it... I was groovin' with the guys on stage! :)

Then Chucky himself came by... yeah... that wasn't so much of a hit...

he started shaking and was scared to pieces... :(

But he was fine when he went away :)  He ate his pizza and danced with the musicians :)

Then we let him play some games and he loved it!!!!

I tried to take him away and he did NOT want to go! :)

We got him a little cake and daddy had to blow out the candle...

He did a great job on the eating though!

So that was Connor's actual b-day...

Connor is ONE!!!!!!

You guys it's hard to believe that time has passed so quickly!!!

Sweet Baby Spaghetti

Connor has eaten spaghetti with butter and salt.

He's eaten spaghetti off of my plate.

Tonight was his first bowl of his OWN spaghetti!

I know this is a little long... but it's cute how they play. :)

So the last couple of days we have had a very sick household!

 Last night was the first night that we hadn't had someone up all night puking since Tuesday of last week... YEAH!

Ok so this is the sick little guy... He spent most of last week, like this... We'd go through about 4 pairs of pj's a night... 

Toby and Connor like to cuddle... they are buds... :) butt to butt...

 Is that not the sweetest little face you've ever seen... 

Little guy is feeling better now!

 

This face cracks me up!  He's like 'What it wasn't me?!!! Musta been Toby....'

All this to say... we HOPE we are on the up slope... :)

5 Generations

We were able to travel up to Pleasanton, CA to see Jimmy's great grand father (Grand Pa Salerno)

So we have Cass, Aunt Bev, Jimmy, Connor and Grandpa Salerno... :) 5 generations.

My little leprechaun wasn't so happy on St. Patty's Day... :)

We also had the pleasure of a visit from my parents, Jimmy's dad and Trevor and Kati.
